Connections: An HIV/AIDS Short Film Series

Video Clips - Hear from:

Description: Connections is an HIV/AIDS prevention strategy designed to promote comfortable discussions about the social barriers that lead to infection in African American communities. It is a series of five (5) short films which target culturally specific at risk populations and is designed to be delivered in either individual, small group, or community settings. The films contain risk related situations that viewers will see as real life experiences and motivate discussions on risk reduction plans including behavior changes, increased condom use and HIV testing. Group and community sessions can be adapted to include demonstrations, brainstorming, task groups, and role plays which will develop the decision making and negotiation skills of participants. Each episode in the series is linked by the story line, giving the collection the feel of a sequel, although all episodes are independent of each other and may be purchased separately. Each film comes with an appropriate discussion guide.

Episode 5 is NOT included in the price of the Connections Short Film Series, however it will be available at 1/2 off the price with the purchase of the Connections Short Film Series.
